Oliver’s Collar Throw Me a Bone Challenge
Here’s the deal:
Fun fact: Dog adoption was a popular means of quarantine entertainment for the BCRC staff, and that means we’ve become really good friends with our neighbors at Oliver’s Collar! As such, our next DSDP challenge is a celebration of running, dog parenting, and all the wonderful ways these two things intersect. We hope you’ll take the “Throw Me a Bone” Map Challenge with us and that you’ll share plenty of pics of you and your furry training pals as you do it!
How to play:
Run a route (must be at least 1 mile long) that creates a map that looks like a dog bone. Once you’ve uploaded your BONE-afide run to your favorite fitness tracker, take a screenshot of it and share it with us in one of three ways by 11:59pm Eastern on Sunday, June 14th:
- Post it to the Durham Social Distance Project Facebook page
- Post it to Instagram (Feed or Stories) and tag us @bullcityrunning
- Email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
(You only have to do ONE of the above!)
All submissions will be sent to our friends at Oliver’s Collar, who will vote on the best one. The winner will be awarded a $25.00 gift card to Oliver’s Collar so that you can get your furry friend something fabulous!
The time frame:
You have until 11:59pm Eastern on Sunday, June 14th to run your route, screenshot your map, and share it with us!
