Fact: EVERYONE has a pelvic floor. This includes women who are moms, women who are not moms, and men too! Your pelvic floor health can impact your running form and your running form can impact your pelvic floor health.
Pelvic floor therapists from Delta Physio will be joining us for a workshop to answer all of your questions about running and the pelvic floor!
They will cover the following topics:
- What your pelvic floor actually is & why you should care about it
- Basic exercises & stretches to help keep your pelvic floor happy & healthy
- How your running form & technique could be contributing to your pelvic floor symptoms
- How to improve your mechanics, breathing & posture to overcome common pelvic floor symptoms such as leaking, heaviness & pelvic pain
