Bull City Running – South Durham
Are you approaching that part of the training cycle where things are starting to feel tired and achy? Chances are, you’re not alone. It’s common for runners to experience some pain or discomfort in the lower extremities as training volume and intensity increase. If you’re gearing up for a big fall goal race, it’s very likely that your volume and intensity are currently trending up.
The experts from Carolina Pain and Performance will be at our South Durham shop on Monday, 8/25 to help us unpack the mysterious of common running ailments including shin splints and injuries of the knee and hip such as IT band syndrome, patella femoral pain, hip flexor strains, and hamstring injuries. If any of these are currently limiting your training, come learn more about…
- Form tendencies that can contribute to these issues.
- Self-assessment tools for early detection/ identification.
- Targeted exercises to prevent and manage these injuries.
We’ll also have plenty of question-and-answer time to address specific individual concerns.
