Bull City Running Co – South Durham
Knee pain is a common malady of the recreational and professional runner. Funny steps. Weird sensations. A scary pop. A fall in the woods. There are many different reasons as to why a knee might hurt, but seldom is the knee truly to blame. While the resulting pain may be located at the knee, the true source is often multifactorial.Join us for a talk on common knee injuries, causes, and preventative measures. We will be joined by Evan Adler, PT, DPT, OCS, a Physical Therapist for UNC Health based at the NW Cary Wellness Center. He is a board certified orthopedic specialist with a personal interest in lower extremity injuries and working with endurance athletes. He has advanced training in manual therapy techniques including certifications in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and dry needling.
