Festivus Fun Run
Thursday, December 10th @ 5:30pm
PARTICIPANT BRIEFING & WAVE START ASSIGNMENTS
Grab your tackiest sweaters, brightest holiday lights, jingliest bells, and Santa hats to join your friends at Bull City Running (South Durham location) for our safe, socially distanced, annual Festivus Fun Run!
It’s a FREE holiday run, so bring a friend and bring the kids! All ages and paces are welcome!
On Running will be live on location to demo (and raffle!) some of their state of the art footwear for your holiday run. Please arrive early to secure your size!
After the run enjoy some “grab-n-go” snacks and hot cocoa! This will also be the last night to bring in a new, unwrapped toy for our holiday toy drive and receive 15% off of your in-store purchase!
We need volunteers! Please sign up here!
This run will take place after dark. Everyone is required to bring lighting and wear reflective clothing/accessories! Safety first! Plus, it’s more fun and festive!
Face coverings are required at all times except while running.
Registration is required. All registered participants will receive a 5:30pm, 5:45pm, 6:00pm, or 6:15pm start time. We are allowing 25 people per wave and the start corral will be spaced out. Wave starts will be announced at least 24 hours prior to the event and everyone will receive an email notification. You MUST start in the wave assigned to you.
This 5k(ish) loop takes you down the American Tobacco Trail and through the footpaths of Woodcroft and surrounding neighborhoods. PLEASE familiarize yourself with the route ahead of time. The route will be marked with signage and a few volunteers to help assist you along the way. Please smile and say thank you 🙂

The Fine Print
We offer our Fun Runs as an opportunity to get the running community together for some fresh air, friendship, and to encourage your training for upcoming races. All ages, paces, and abilities are welcome. These are not sanctioned events and they are not “supported” at the same level as a “typical” road race – i.e., watch for traffic! But, they are free and we hope you’ll have fun! Thanks for your participation!
This run will take place after dark. Everyone is required to bring lighting and wear reflective clothing/accessories!
